Sitting in a coffee shop, talking to good friends, reading good books, listening to good music...

Life is grand.

Pics of my new graf endeavors coming soon. :~)

Mmmm... tattoos...

I got two new tattoos!

One is an addition to the white ink Namaste in Sanskrit on my right wrist, with a light blue moon. It means: evolving human mind/spirit, womanhood, sisterhood, it's the symbol of the goddess... pretty neat stuff. The other is a plain black musical natural symbol in the middle of my back right where my neck and shoulders meet. It, of course, sticks with my musical theme (I have a white ink treble clef on my right wrist), but this one also means natural progression of thought, logic, reason, and in extreme cases, atheism. I'm already planning my next one, a stylized treble clef drawn by my bu on the inside of my left ankle. Things things are like crack, I started planning my next one while Mikey was coloring in the moon on my wrist.

Other than that things are good - I finished Benazir's autobiography, moved on to Cry of The People, and have since began to plan out the next decade or so of my life in extreme excitement and trepidation. My mandolin has been a constant source of relaxation for me - guitar-type instruments are truly in a league of their own.

My bu and I are tighter than ever, and we've vowed to start a Critical Mass ride here in Milledgeville to remind motorists that bikes have a right to the road as well. I've almost gotten my ass flattened multiple times, not to mention I've been yelled at by cops to ride on the sidewalks, even thought it's ILLEGAL for cyclists to ride there! I won't bore you with how frustrating that is to me, I'm sure you can figure it out.

Anywho, that's about it... I just wanted to gush about my new ink!

VIVA!

Yeah.

Life is super cool.
Took some pictures while rappelling off an old bridge with my lover friend.
Did some graf.
Had some mud fights.
School rocks. Started a kickass Feminist club, getting involved with the WRC on campus. Pretty exciting stuff.

People are so fucking awesome. Like... humans. In general. Fascinating.

Yeah. :~)

Nothing new yet! My old camera was eaten by the city of Athens, Ga, and the new one has yet to be purchased (I am so ornery when it comes to spending money... I have to think about it FOREVER...), so unless I steal my friend's spiffy new Nikon D70, then I'm screwed for material.

But I've been feeling some hardcore love for DA as of late. After skimming through a few amazing Photoshop tutorials, I've managed to crank out what I think are passable works, but I'm not confident enough to have them critiqued yet. I will soon though.

Other than that, life is... humid. I'm back in college, back in the south, back in the blissful routine where parents are nowhere to be found. My music has finally taken a front seat (our quartet has three gigs already!!) and I found out that we're playing "The Messiah" with a professional chorus come December... *has geeky orch-dork moment* YESSS.

Anywho, enough rambling... hope things are well with everyone!
